Sky above us, sand below…Marriages are meant to be endless as the ocean's horizon.
A Chinese couple looking for a wedding with ocidental decoration and oriental traditions. This mix ended up on a very interesting event where the guests had lots of fun and appreciated the amazing view from the Palm Jumeirah. Maggie and Li’s ceremony and the reception lunch were outdoors as the weather in Dubai in October is fresh and pleasant. The colours purple, lilac and blue were chosen by the bride to combine with the sea view and we added some nautical elements, such as chairs decorated with sailors knots. The combination China-Dubai couldn’t have been more fascinating for all their 50 guests.
The bride and groom hadn’t forgotten their origins and made a point of changing their clothes, wearing a traditional Chinese wedding outfits.
The men guests received beach hats to use during the ceremony and after, and could take it home as a souvenir.
We took almost 4,5 hours to prepare all the sailors knots for the ceremony chairs. Fortunately we made it in advance.

This event is a proof that distance is not a problem, when you have a good planning schedule and enough call meetings. Destination weddings requires different priorities and clear conversations.

Concept and branding creation of an amazing wedding, where a dance floor took all the guests’ attention and bride and groom never stopped dancing. But the challenge well accomplished for our team was finding the desired "mauve color".
